What cookies actually are
Small text files, nothing sinister.
A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser. It can remember that you dismissed a banner, keep a form half-filled, or tell us which pages get read. Cookies can't run programs, and they can't read files on your device.
Our approach
We use the minimum set needed for the site to work plus lightweight analytics. No ad-network trackers, no cross-site profiling.
The cookies we set
The full list — it's short on purpose.
Essential
blissriva_cookies — remembers that you dismissed the cookie banner.
Keeps your consent choice for 12 months. Without it you'd see the banner every visit.
Analytics
Anonymous page-view statistics — which trips get attention and where visitors drop off. No advertising profiles are built from this.
Embedded map
The Google Maps embed on our contacts page may set Google's own cookies when it loads — that's Google, not us.
CDN assets
Fonts, icons and CSS load from public CDNs (jsdelivr, cdnjs). Their infrastructure may log standard request data.
How to switch them off
Your browser, your rules.
- Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies — look in Settings → Privacy
- Blocking our cookies won't break the site; the banner will just reappear
- "Do Not Track" and private-browsing modes are respected by our analytics setup
- To reset your banner choice, clear site data for blissriva.com and reload
Blocking third-party cookies (like the map embed's) may mean some embedded content asks for consent again or displays differently — that's your browser doing its job.
Changes to this policy
Kept current, dated at the top.
If we add a new cookie — say, a booking engine or a different analytics tool — this page gets updated and the "last updated" date moves. For significant changes we'll flag it on the homepage too, not just quietly edit the fine print.
